AIGI

The road network concession under the Government of Aragon’s Extraordinary Road Investment Programme was awarded to AIGI Ibérica de Gestión Infraestructuras, S.A., in 2022, following an international public tender.

The concession covers around 161.5 km of roads in the Aragon region, including the West Zaragoza route, a strategic axis for freight transport and regional mobility, which is essential for economic competitiveness and territorial cohesion.

The concession includes the operation, maintenance, surveillance and modernisation of the road infrastructure over a 25-year period.

AIGI is owned by a consortium of shareholders, led by Ascendi, which holds a 75% stake.
