International Electronic Toll Collection Operation

Ascendi marks a significant milestone in its international journey with the implementation of four Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) tolling gantries on the A69 motorway, a new road connection between Toulouse and Castres in southern France.

This project represents Ascendi’s first international tolling operation in a full-scope role, assuming complete responsibility for the concession’s tolling system. This responsibility includes both the implementation and future operation of MLFF solutions, bringing to the project well-established European expertise and extensive experience in free-flow tolling systems, supported by an end-to-end approach tailored to demanding regulatory and operational environments.

The installation of the gantries marks a key milestone in the deployment of the A69 electronic toll collection system, resulting from work carried out across several project phases, including detailed planning, coordination between multidisciplinary teams, technical testing, and continuous collaboration with the consortium’s different partners.

This international project highlights Ascendi’s ability to design, implement, and operate tolling solutions in technologically advanced international environments.
