Maintenance Management

The management of infrastructure maintenance is conducted with a georeferenced digital platform developed by Ascendi – the SustIMS Platform.

SustIMS is a user friendly integrated solution that supports the Maintenance Manager decision-making, with a degradation forecast of each infrastructural element and simulates different maintenance or rehabilitation strategies.

The solution integrates 3 components

  1. Management platform. Integrates and manages all the information.
  2. Mobile platform. Supported by tablets, it allows for the on-line data integration of the infrastructure’s visual inspections.
  3. Online monitoring. Real-time infrastructure monitoring, using wireless network sensors (WSN), applied mainly in walls and slopes.

Management platform cycle: information, analysis, scenario simulation (quality and cost) and decision making.
