The Pinhal Interior Subconcession was awarded to Ascendi Pinhal Interior, Estradas do Pinhal Interior SA, in April 2010, through an international public tender.

This Subconcession endows the region with a set of new and improved road infrastructures, which positively impact the socio-economic development of the region. The main axes of this Subconcession are the A13, which connects Tomar to Coimbra Sul and A13-1, which connects Condeixa and A1.

The Subconcession includes project, construction, increase of the number of lanes, financing and operation and maintenance, for a 30 year period.
