Grande Porto concession was awarded to Ascendi Grande Porto, Auto Estradas do Grande Porto, S. A, in September 2002, through an international public tender.

The Grande Porto Concession surrounds the northern Porto metropolitan area, simplifying the routines of thousands of people and improving the accesses to Porto Airport and Seaport.

The Concession includes project, construction, financing and operation and maintenance, for a 30 year period.
